![]() Second, I wanted to calibrate the battery so the % show properly. Here are some things I've noticed:ġ) For me, this didn't work on PC via the same USB cable, only from wall socket, so perhaps more juice from outlet helps.Ģ) When not connected to any charge, pressing power button showed 0% instead of the bolt, so the phone or battery knew the capacity was at 0%ģ) Pressing the PB and volume down keys didn't do anything for meĤ) Two things preceded this: First, I blew with mouth hot air inside the USB-C on the phone, so there was some slight moisture, and I thought that's the issue, but moisture is signaled differently, than a white bolt in a white circle. Before I knew it, it was at 2% and I knew I'm saved, cause I don't have any warranty for my S23 Ultra. I just held the power button and volume up button for like 30 seconds and soon the phone has shown a green spinning circle and a 0% charging. What helped me, is what a guy on another site suggested, which is basically 50% of what you have said. The phone may still last months even a year but it does indicate there is a problem developing, its usually the case in older phones ive had mine for 5 or 6 years now and its still going but it probably shouldnt happen in a newer phone If ur phone has been discharging faster, having trouble charging or getting very hot it might be time to look at backing up your data. Then after that do the same thing but hold the volume up button instead of volume down, around the 20 to 25second mark the lightning bolt will be replaced with 0%, you can release now and it will charge as normal. While doing this the lightning bolt and circle image would dissapear and reapear intermittently for about 7 seconds at a time for me, it showed me that it was doing something at least. Then hold the power button and press in the volume down and hold them both for about 25 seconds. ![]() 3 years with my S6 and zero problems with it until it was replaced with this S9.Īm late but i had the same issue and resolved it.įirst plug it in, the lightning bolt and circle has to show. What the hell is going on!! I've had this phone 2 months. I can't find any pictures online or references to this error screen. When I turn the phone off and plug it in, the blank white circle with the lightning bolt comes back and the pulse vibrating. When I came back, I plug it in and there is no reaction. This morning at work I had it plugged in for a bit at 15% and charged it up to 30% before lunch. Eventually got it working, charged, bought a wireless charger, and the errors all went away.įastforward a few days later. When I took it to the store, they started to wireless charge it and at first the only thing on the screen was a white circle with a tiny white lightning bolt at the top of the circle and it would pulse vibrate. ![]() A few days ago, my phone died in the middle of the night and when I went to charge it, I got a moisture detection error despite it not getting wet and in a non-humid climate. I'm having issues with my phone being able to charge.
